Black Cupro Belted Long Caftan - Sale

This was my second purchase from ocean+main and I’m equally happy. The fabric is just a dream. I brought it on a 3-day trip to LA where it was 90 degrees and I felt cool and comfortable. It also packed really well. I had rolled it, and when I put it on, the wrinkles fell out quickly. Multiple compliments at the dinner I attended.

My one piece of advice to the designers is I would love if belt loops went through the body of the dress, rather than just the flutter sides. Personally, I would prefer to leave the back of the caftan loose and just belt the front so having the loops go all the way through would allow for that.

I love this caftan. The fabric is soft and floating, the cut is flattering (1X is very forgiving on my older 5'3" 198lb frame, although I will have to take up the hem). It is comfortable and stylish - able to be dressed down for a casual lunch/resort wear or up with jewelry for a more formal dinner. I like the option to style it differently with the belt. The process of ordering from Ocean+Main was easy and helpful, and delivery to Sydney was seamless. I bought the silk bib caftans in 1X too, for the straighter cut option, but I will have to return them for the 2X as they were a little tight on the hip.
