Malaysia Collection: Fern Print Long Cotton Tunic - Only 21 Made

Eco friendly caftans and tunics inspired by the ocean, made on main street. Ethically sourced and locally made in Los Angeles.

Inspired by the rainforest of Malaysia, this beautiful print combines two quintessential rainforest motifs: the gentle shape of the abundant fern and the deep red of a tropical hibiscus. Hand blocked four meters at time by Abdul Rahman, or Pok Mud,  Pok Mud prints about 8 - 10 panels a day, or 8 -10 tunics.  His wife, Aziza and their son, Azizi, dye and finish the fabric once Pok Mud has finished wax-blocking the fabric.  (Watch the video below to see Pok Mud and his family work their magic.)

It's easy to see why this print is called "Paradiso" as rainforest outside the craft center in Kuala Lumpur where they work is truly paradise.  Made in our classic tunic silhouette, this easy tunic is great as a beach cover and perfect as at-home lounge wear.  Fans of our classic tunic won't want to miss this special, super soft tunic.
